About Me

photo I am an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

I was born in Santo Antônio do Monte, Brazil, in 1982 and received my BSc and MSc degrees in Electronics Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica, São José dos Campos, Brazil, in 2004 and 2006 respectively. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2010. I was a postdoc fellow at UFMG during the year of 2011. In 2012, I joined UFMG as an assistant professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering.

My research interests include multi-agent systems, networked control systems, stochastic hybrid systems and stochasticity in biology.
